Ernie Betancourt - President

Ernie has extensive experience in leading the development of information systems for truck stops and trucking companies. As the lead founder and CEO of Trendar Corporation, he gained extensive knowledge and understanding of truck stop fuel desk operations and challenges. As the former CEO of Innovative Computing Corporation he had the opportunity to work with leading motor carriers in developing and maintaining enterprise software systems. At Innovative, he led the development of a successful "software as a service" (SaaS) delivery system to economically provide enterprise software to smaller carriers. Recently, Mr. Betancourt has been the listed inventor or co-inventor of several patent applications related to fuel transaction processing.

Vince Peschio has been involved in software development since obtaining a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. With more than 25 years experience, Mr. Peschio has witnessed first-hand the evolution of computer technology from mainframes to personal computers and programming languages from assembler to 4GL languages.

Prior to his position with QuikQ, Mr. Peschio served as the Director of Development for Innovative Computing Corporation.

Before entering the trucking software industry, Mr. Peschio spent his career in health care assisting a variety of medical based companies with their information system and software needs, including serving as the regional CIO for Community Health Systems (CHS) Virginia hospitals.

Mr. White has been a venture capitalist and angel investor for over thirty years, during which time he financed seven companies through their IPOs (including Nextel Communications, Inc. - NXTL), and served for over twenty-five years on the boards of four NASDAQ-traded concerns.  He was the lead investor for Trendar Corporation, the dominant universal point-of-sale solution truck stop that was founded by Ernest Betancourt, and an advisor to Innovative Computing Corporation.  Prior to that Mr. White was an entrepreneur and executive in the aerospace industries.  He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree in electrical engineering from Brigham Young University and a Master in Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School.

Marty Faber has 25 years of successful experience in the transportation industry. His career began in the LTL segment working for Averitt Express and Carolina Freight (now part of ABF). Mr. Faber next worked for Ernie Betancourt at Trendar selling a solution known as the Fleet/Driver Information System (FDIS) which allowed fleets to interface directly with the Trendar POS at truck stops. He moved over to Comdata when Comdata acquired Trendar in the mid 90's. He spent over ten years on that side of the business providing information and financial solutions to carriers, truck stop operators, and Fortune 500 companies around the country. He has also spent time working with the fuel marketing company AMBEST which helped independent truck stop operators compete for business against large chains. Prior to QuikQ, Mr. Faber worked with Mr. Betancourt at Innovative Computing Corporation which provided enterprise management software to carriers.  Mr. Faber graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1986 with a B.S. degree.

The experiences Mr. Faber has acquired in the last 25 years, has made him well suited in fostering new business relations for QuikQ as well as Truck Stops/Carriers. Currently, Mr. Faber is in charge of new business relations and marketing its products.
